I hate bad CGI, unecessary CGI, and especially CGI where a real physical model should have been, considering you;d think Meyer would want that.

I doubt the quality of CGI in this promotional teaser is going to be representative of the finished series.

Also, this series is only going to be 13 episodes... and who knows, if there's a second season then it may not even be focusing on the same ship and crew. I doubt they'd have been able to get the approval to have an intricate and expensive physical model built for a 13 episode show in this day and age.

Maybe, maybe not. After tow crappy spin-off series, one [Voyager] with a good deal of obviously fake CGI ships, you'd think some effort would be made to show us this time it's gonna be different.

Each and everyone of those promos make me so glad...........I decided in the 90 to wait for new films to appear on TV, and pass on them at that time too. It's dire, so dire.
I can't wait for all this junk to be ripped apart with the same vigour good stuff from the past is being subjected to now. If history is honest, fair and if it finally has recovered its taste, it will be ferociously harsh on the past15 years. Anything less will not do.

Fifteen years? More like forty years (sorry, but the late '70s through today have been truly horrific).

The cast looks excellent for Doctor Strange but i'm still not really swayed by the trailers i've seen. I've enjoyed pretty much all the Marvel films to some degree, so i'm sure this one will have something going for it in the entertainment stakes. I'm just not really a huge fan of magic stuff in films. Be interesting to see how they fit Strange in with all the other characters when the time comes.
