Let us all pray in faith, and believe for the very best.
From the outside, that sounds a lot like what terrorists say. They think they are doing good and fighting evil because they have faith in their handbook just like you do in yours.
Faith is exactly what has gotten us into this shit. And prayer is just a way of making people feel better about themselves while doing nothing.
Reason and science have taken two thousand years to take the antihumanity out of Judeo-Christianity. That task will be harder, if not impossible, with Islam.
Let me correct you here, Jehanum. Its 'radical islam' which is an offshoot of its fundamentalist salafi interpretation - a modern day Frankenstein. Islam is anything but anti-human. Islam brought out a Golden Age of was at its time a scientific pinnacle of the discovery of modern Medicine, Astronomy, Chemistry, Mathematics whereas the rest of the medieval world was plunged in chaos of darkness and supremacy of its religious fundamentalists doctrines. Today, its just the reverse now... And these so called terrorists fighting in the name of religion is just BS and it has no fore-bearing in Islams original doctrines. Its all political power-shifts puppeteered by retro midieval mindsets. We are all being played here. I agree, Faith and Prayer is not enough. Time to confront the demons and Frankensteins that we have all forged and created today. This 'ring of power' must be destroyed.

Sadly, now, there is no 'ring of power' TO destroy.
Just sad little individuals, living quietly on their own, in anytown, anyplace, waiting for their moment to be embraced by their dog, by causing maximum chaos and destruction on innocent people/children.
I was about to type something VERY similar to what Jeh typed, but thought it would derail the thread, so didn't bother.

Those sad little individuals are enabled by religion, governments and powerful corporate entities on both sides. Look in the mirror.
