He could refurbish "Angie" for that one:
"Leia, Leiiiiiiiiiiiiiiia, when will we from Cloud city disappear?
Leia, Leiiiiiiiiiiiiiiia, where will it lead us from here?"

Then again some things had better not even be contemplated. The less Stones, the better.

"Strike Me Up"
"2000 Light Years from Hoth"
"Build Me Shelter"
"Dead Jawas"
"It's Only Degobah (But I Like It)"
"Cantina Women"
"Child of the Moon (of Endor)"
"Dancing With Mr. D.V."
"Get Off My Cloud (City)"

(Not super funny, but the best I could come up with off the top of my head at 3:30 AM....)

I wish he had done all of the movies! Think of the Oscar speech Mick would have made for having written lyrics like this:

"Whatsa matter with you Han, we're comin' round at twelve-hundred hours with some Priapulin women who're just dyyyyyin to meeetchu!"

I don't believe Han Solo and that particular alien race ever appeared together; consider it "artistic license." wink

Wouldn't it have been spooky if he had written the exact same score Williams wrote? Now there's a premise for a Twilight Zone episode.

He could have, as long as he had access to Holst.

while everyone quotes Holst as being used by Williams. check out Debussy's Trois Nocturnes then listen to some of the other parts of the Planets.

"Who scored first?" might have been a bigger SW fan obsession than "Who shot first?"

It might be wishful thinking on the Jagger people's part, but there is a tiny germ of sense to it.

"Heavy Metal" did some business, right?

The most obvious parallel is probably Sting, who not only became an actor, but also branched out into movie scoring, with respectable results.

The real lesson is the one for journalists: check your sources, folks.

With all due respect to Mr. Jagger I somehow can't imagine The Asteroid Field without Mr. Williams. Mick is a great songwriter and performer but really... The Empire Strikes Back????

Careful or ten years from now Lucas will say it was always Jagger who was going to score first.....
