I'm not a fan of Bronson in his later years of acting. 10 to Midnight, Death Wish 2, Murphy's Law after that its downhill tv movies. But some of the earlier films are solid.
I'd almost forgotten that Laurence Fishburne shows up in this as one of the street hoods. This had to have been a come down after APOCALYPSE NOW, before moving on to RUMBLEFISH, COTTON CLUB and other more classy fare.
Of course, even Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey have a TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE NEXT GENERATION on their resumes to live down. (McConaughey smiles and laughs about this early credit but I gather Zellweger just won't talk about it.)
