Was he a big soundtrack music fan?
Regardless, it will be interesting if anyone responds with a similar experience.

I believe there's a spoken intro by Lee on the CD release of Franz Razenstein's Mummy where he talks about it being his favorite Hammer score. Maybe he was just trying to push the product, but it sounded like he genuinely meant it.

Christopher Lee did NOT make 300 plus films. Now you're really exaggerating.

Anyway, Rasputin was a real person, not like Dracula, and if you believe in ghosts, you better hope you don't see the ghost of Rasputin. Not even Christopher Lee's ghost would want to see Rasputin's ghost.

Oh, man, if you're seeing ghosts, you better be afraid, because Christopher Lee's ghost won't save you from Rasputin's ghost. I really hope Rasputin's ghost isn't reading this. Rasputin had (has) no sense of humor. In fact, I'd say he is probably one pissed off ghost.

I wonder which Rasputin Rasputin's ghost liked better, Christopher Lee's Rasputin, or Tom Baker's?

Dracula was a real person too, but not as portrayed by Lee in the film.

Not the vampire Dracula. If you believe the vampire Dracula was a real person, you've got a bigger problem than this Lee fan! wink

I thought I'd read somewhere that Dracula was loosely based on (or inspired by) someone named Vlad the Impaler.

Yeah, very loosely, as in no connection. That's what ruins a lot of Dracula movies for me, when they try to connect the two. Bram Stoker made no such connection in the original book (I believe he didn't find out about Vlad the Impaler until after he'd finished the book), which is why Coppola's DRACULA sucks!

Don't believe me, just ask Christopher Lee's ghost!

It's interesting how so many people will admit to believing in the spiritual or supernatural yet when someone actually clams to have been visited by or spoken to by supernatural beings/forces/essences/whatever, everyone rightfully thinks of these people as total nutters. Gee, I wonder why? It seems like a contradiction: One can freely admit belief in such things but lock 'em up if they claim interaction with 'em.

To answer the op's question: No, I have never been visited by any ghostly celebrities. And I don't believe anyone else has, either.
