Look, if you don't like the music....that's fine. But I always find it odd when people can't separate music layed out by itself from whatever media it was attached to. Something doesn't get better out of context just because one experiences it in context. The music stays static. I would argue that last part, TE. As an example, when I first listened to Price's GRAVITY, it didn't do a whole lot for me, neither the first, "noisy" half, nor the later parts, which sounded overwrought to me. Then I watched the movie and was blown away how well the score worked in context. Completely changed my opinion of it. I get what you're saying, that the music doesn't change, it's one's perception of it. ...and re-reading your post, I'm not quite sure I needed to argue that last part. Seems like we were in agreement all along. It's been a long day...
