Extremely proud to announce the launch of a project designed around the concepts of getting new music heard, fostering creativity and helping others.
DANNY ELFMAN PROJECT: RABBIT & ROGUE is an online filmmaker's challenge presented by the LA Film Festival in which Danny Elfman is granting free music licenses of his latest Sony Classical album to filmmakers wanting to be inspired by his music and use it as the gratis soundtrack to their short films.
They can be live action, animated, narrative, documentary or experimental films.
The challenge is hosted by indi.com. They will be sharing these shorts and running the online completion through March 1, 2017.

The winning short films will be given their World Premiere screening at next year's LA Film Festival.
Originally composed for the American Ballet Theatre at Lincoln Center for choreographer Twyla Tharp, Elfman's orchestral music is now being given an additional life, as the free score for filmmakers to use in their own projects.
