It's a crime film made in Hong Kong in the late 1980s or early 1990s. I thought it might be Ringo Lam's CITY ON FIRE (1987) but I've just watched the trailer on youtube and that's not the score I'm thinking of. It's not The Killer or Hard Boiled, not a John Woo film, but it's like those and made around that time.
It has a percussion-based score, very snappy, very American sounding. It's almost a famous score. That's why I want to know the name of the film, so I can get the score. Anyone?
It's a percussion-based instrumental stuck in my head. Almost disco, but not really. Very snappy. If I had a film clip or sound clip I'd know the name of it.
