DAN!!! Seriously man, welcome back! I know you weren't banned or anything, so it's okay to post again.

To answer your question - actually, no! I admire the work of those gentlemen (Lee, Cushing, Price), but never "collected" memorabilia. Sorry - can't answer your questions about the gala suit or the hats, but someone should be able to.

Sorry, I seem to have confused you with somebody else... at least I think I have. Apologies - I've just checked your profile. Interesting... you reminded me so much of dan the man (whose thread you resurrected too). I'm still in two minds about it......

Still, the previous answer stands. I love the films of Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, and look forward to talking about them. No memorabilia though.

Well good luck with that, Chris Lee Fan. Sorry to insist, but if you dig into some of dan the man's threads, you'll see why I confused the two of you. And if it IS you (dan), tell us how you managed to improve your computer skills - your profile even has photos on it (I can't do that yet), but the Facebook link doesn't work.

Once more, apologies. I don't mean to frighten off a genuine new member to the FSM community. I'll be quiet for a while.

Sorry, I can't shut up - I just LOVE that bit in your profile, Sir Chris Fan, where you say that you "have written 1 book for Michael Schumacher, and he has a signed copy". Superb sense of humour! Welcome on board!

Oh, and "Don Giavanni" amongst your favourite composers!

Welcome Chris...yet me too thinks you is Danny . You have/had a peculiar way of writing that is way too personal.
In any case if you are the man welcome back, missed your entertaining posts.
If am wrong my sincere apologies .
Alex

Ah! The links to Amazon etc are not direct, but I did a Google search for the book. Some interesting reviews. Chris, what name do you want us to use when addressing you? "Chris" sounds odd... can we change it to "Christina" (the late actor's daughter)? Or just use your real name?

Anyway, I'm not much into Formula 1, but I do like m'Lees! I was in the International Club as a young teen (starting about '73). Since you are an elegant lady of mature years, you may have some stories about that, or just about how you became interested in the first place. A fan since '58? Would that have been because of the first Hammer Dracula film?

Feel free to start a new thread - this one has become sidetracked already.

My name is Gail Jacqueline Gray by i use Gail Gray for the Michael Shumacher book but i hate my first name gail so you can call me jacqueline, jackie or jack its your choice.I watched Dracula in 1958 with my father that is how i became a admirer of Sir Christopher lee, by the way i am writing a book on him its another dedication/tribute but i am hoping Madame Lady Lee Christopher's wife likes it has she will be getting the first copy.

Talkin' to yourself, Graham?

Maybe that's just as well - what would your wife think about you chatting with another woman. smile

The book mentioned above has its authorship attributed to Gail Gray.

So the FSM profile doesn't belong to 'dan the man' but rather 'gail the girl'.

[p.s.: I see that Jackie posted mere minutes before my ribbing Graham]

Hi, Jackie.

Looking at your profile, I'm gratified to learn that an Italian film score is your actual favorite soundtrack.

That is, I assume you have gotten the 2-CD set from Digitmovies containing The Whip and the Body - which has Rustichelli's music with its original Italian title La frusta e il corpo (and has been sold out and OOP).

[So a lady from Buckinghamshire loves the Windsor Concerto.]

Thanks for mentioning Cross-Roads. I've never seen it, but according to IMDB it is a short film (22 minutes). Ferdy Mayne is also in its cast.

I expect you are aware of the 1964 Il castello dei morti vivi?
