Shit - are you talking about BT introducing choir to his fine palette of devices to enhance his symphonic togues? To use an expression from your time, right on.

Surprise - it is the same score as the last one, again, and the one before it. Who the fuck pays this guy! He has to be the biggest hack of all time. Fuck Zimmer. This guy jusy photocopies his scores and sends them along to whomever likes them. Ridiculous.

There is a really great spanish guitar theme in one track but that only appears for a few seconds later.

Whatever you have to say about Zimmer, Djawadi, here is the worst contemporary composer. To think, I ordered every one of his early CDs thinking he was the next big thing.

Are Brian Tyler fans the same as Fast and Furious fans? If that's the case and it could well be seeing the kinds of films he scores, well that should tell you all you need to know about this (film) huge piece of juvenile crap coupled with raging testosterone fueled noise.
I can't stand seeing topics for piece of shit movies and their accompanying scores by Brian Tylers, Bates, et al be what folks on this board want to talk about.

Kind of a broad brush to paint with, Leonardo.

I am a fan of Brian Tyler (well, his earlier stuff mainly - DARKNESS FALLS, TERROR TRACT), but not so much of The Fast and the Furious. I saw F8 at the drive-in and, while I've seen much worse movies, I was fairly underwhelmed.

These are the films he scores because people hire him to score these movies. For all we know, Tyler would be happier scoring Merchant-Ivory films, but he's in demand for high octane, low IQ popcorn fare. It's his career and hey, I'm sure (given the right circumstances) we'd much rather be scoring movies like this than nothing at all.

Also, topics for these movies pop up because (try not to let your monocle fall off when you read this next part) there are people who might be looking forward to the scores and - in rare circumstances - the movies for which they're written. You don't care for the music or the movies, that is your right, but don't take away from those who just might enjoy them.

(Nothing against you personally. This just poured out of me.)

A guy walks into a bar and says, "I can't stand walking into bars and looking at people in bars and seeing what the inside of a bar looks like!"
