An awesome time recording it as always, with a great UK Brass Band Sound. Proferssionally recorded and edited by World Of Sound (the premier Brass Band engineers in the business).

Cost is £10 GBP. £2 P&P in the UK. Elsewhere, follow the link at the website below (we are not big enough to offer standard worldwide business shipping rates!) and e-mail my secretary.

Give it a splash.....

Greg

EDIT - NOW WITH ADDED LINK...whoops... http://www.glospoliceband.org/cd_info.php

Sorry, no Digital Download available (the fees for getting that service were researched and beyond our budget...at the moment).

Thanks TG....We started of with 30 pieces in mind and during months of rehearsals we pared it down to the best 15, which were all recorded in one weekend. One of those didn't make it on to the CD for reasons I won't go in to here.

I would like to get this CD but I live in the US. I have tried three times to contact this group to get a CD sent to the US, but each time I use the email address given on the annoucement, it comes back undeliverable. Can anyone assist me with help? Thanks!

I'm sorry about that - I don't understand why that might be happening. Please e-mail me (my address is in my profile) and I will forward to correct person. Please include the address you want the CD sent to in your e-mail.

To those that have ordered - thank you so much!!

Received (wonderful service!) and played ...

... great fun, with the hits far outweighing the misses.

I have very little Band music in my collection and this collection, of well-known film melodies, is a great addition. Okay, if Midway March isn't particularly inspiring ... there's the fabulous Ben-Hur to recall (two tracks before) and you can see the smiles on their faces as the Band perform The Best of Bond ... superbly infectious!

If you like your film score music in its OST form only then this disc probably won't suit you but if you're willing to accept that the best film music has a life away from the celluloid then I can recommend these performances. They're a lot more satisfying than many other cover versions I've heard (and own!) smile

I should mention that because of the costs involved, the plan at the moment is to stick to a limited run of 500 CD's. ...grab em while you can!
