I've given this a few spins now and I think it's my favorite of the new varese batch. The percussion in this score is insane. I'm also hearing nods to Predator in some places. Not sure how I missed this score all these years. It's now quickly becoming one of my favorite 90s Silvestri scores.

It really is a great score but you would have never noticed it on the original release. While there were plenty of 90's Varese albums that played perfectly as a 30 min album, Volcano wasn't one of them. It wasn't until I heard the deluxe edition that it also became one of mine favorite 90's Silvesti scores.
I was thinking of buying this because of the sale... and it looked like it was still available... I entered "Volcano" into the search box and it came up. I didn't see "sold out" until I clicked on it and went to the product page.
Guess they found a few extras. Or maybe some credit cards got declined?
I'm glad I put my order in BEFORE the sale (honestly 15% doesn't really do much for me). But I had a feeling stuff would start selling out because of it.
