For some months I have been enjoying the gorgeous score to the video game WildStar by Jeff Kurtenacker. The composer has a tremendous gift for melody and orchestration. I highly recommend you check out the 30 cues on his Soundcloud page:
Dive right in and listen to the catchy main theme, which for some reason is track 21 of the playlist.
Other favorite cues of mine--
1. Into the Unknown: a longish cue with beautiful variations on the main theme that apparently plays during a portion of the game in which the player creates his or her character
19. Our Perception of Beauty: absolutely sublime
20. Two Pistols and an Open Frontier: great western cue, reminiscent of Christopher Lennertz's score to the video game GUN
29. Legend of the Blue Horizon: powerful western-tinged grand finale
I know nothing about the game itself, but the music is truly cinematic. If the soundtrack ever receives an official release, I will definitely snap it up.
I can't recommend this highly enough. And here's a tip: you can buy the release directly from the Sumthing Else Music Works Facebook page Klicktrack music store, where for $9.00 you can download the score in FLAC format. Here's a link:

Thank you for the tip! Unfortunately, the Wildstar album is unavailable for purchase in Europe (or part of it at least) on the Klicktrack store. It's available on the regular (and MP3-only) Sumthing Else webstore, though... Weird.
I'm a little surprised that this fantastic release hasn't received much attention here. The composer just tweeted that there have been no reviews whatsoever. I know that my fellow film-music lovers would find this really appealing. Don't miss out!

On a sidenote: Kevin Riepl's Batman Unlimited albums released by Sumthing Else around the same time, are also in this "monthly releases overview", and I can't get enough of them (despite the lack of live players), they are so much energetic and fun!

I just noticed Sumthing Else released a second volume of Jeff Kurtenacker's WildStar, featuring 20 tracks, at the end of August. Sweet! and its even better than the first.the first 4 tracks alone are better than most i´ve heard this year.

Listen to the good doctor -- volume 2 is tremendous.
