There are so many different CD editions of The Beatles at the Star Club.

Which Star Club CD is the most complete and the most recommended?

It could be that more than one edition is needed, but I would like to hear from someone who really knows what's what.

I am not a collector of every last Fab artifact by any means, but my opinion is that there are 2 options:
For relatively completeness's sake--a 3-disc edition identified as BATZ 0053-0055.
For slightly improved listenability--albeit much hissier--a 2-disc set called "Zu Laut!" from the good folks at Mobilephone.

Bizarrely, I own a truncated CD edition issued by K-Tel USA back in 1986. It laughingly includes "Hully Gully" which wasn't performed by them!

That's about all I can say.
The "experts" at the Hoffman forum live for this stuff and go into an astonishing level of scrutiny of the tapes, with only occasional lapses into pedantry.
