I don't have any titles beginning with "Z". But I would like to think "The Mask Of Zorro" and "The Legend of Zorro" qualify. wink

They do not qualify. I have mine under M and L, respectively.

Of course they qualify. Many libraries, DVD stores, etc. file this way. Why, for example, would I file all 3 in different locations? Especially the two that are direct links to one another. Silly rabbit.

No I am not buying it. lol We might have to step outside and settle this. big grin

I have my CD's in alphabetical order, but I've considered putting Zorro's together under "Z". As well as James Bond scores under "J". Sometimes I wish other franchises followed the Star Trek and Star Wars naming conventions! Franchise name first, subtitle second.

If you put Legend of Zorro under Z, then you have to put The Legend of Bagger Vance under B, The Age of Innocence under I, Raise the Titanic under T, Return of the Magnificent Seven under M, The Gospel of John under J and so on. It is a slippery slope!

For those who don't have Pino Donaggio's ZELLY & ME in their collection, Varese Sarabande has just issued an Encore Edition of the CD.

We soundtrack fans may be certifiably nuts ...

... but to buy a CD simply to increase the number of scores in our collection starting with a particular letter easily takes the cake!

Only joking, of course!

I once bought a T.E.R. LP of Davenport's X-tro (1983) simply so that I would have a soundtrack to a film which began with the letter "X".
It was a synthesizer score and I parted with it a few years later because I didn't care for it.

More recently, I got La-La Land's CD of Les Baxter's "X - the Man with the X-ray Eyes", so my collection continues to represent every letter of the alphabet (even with the loss of X-tro smile )

How many "Q"s you guys got? big grin

To answer the original question, I have only two:
A Zed & Two Noughts – Michael Nyman
Zombi (aka Dawn of the Dead) – Goblin

As for the alphabetically last title in my collection (cause the Scandinavian alphabet is added behind A-Z here):
Ørnen: En Krimi-odyssé – Jacob Groth

How many "Q"s you guys got? big grin

A bit of sidetraking, but I have several soundtracks beginning with Q, mostly Italian though:
Quando L’Amore È Sensualità – Ennio Morricone
Quantum of Solace – David Arnold
Quattro Mosche Di Velluto Grigio – Ennio Morricone
Quella Villa In Fondo Al Parco – Stefano Mainetti
Quelle Strane Occasioni – Piero Piccioni
Quiz Show – Mark Isham

    ...

How many "Q"s you guys got? big grin

    Lots!
    QB VII (1974) - Goldsmith
Quando l'Amore è Sensualità (When Love Is Lust) (1973) - Morricone
Quando le Donne Avevano La Coda (When Women Had Tails) (1970) - Morricone
Quando le Donne Persero La Coda (When Women Lost Their Tails) (1972) - Nicolai
Quanto Costa Morire (Cost of Dying) (1968) - De Masi
Quantum of Solace (2008) - Arnold
    Quartiere (1987) - Morricone
    (Il) Quarto Re (The Fourth King) (1997) - Morricone,E & A
    Quattro Dell'Ave Maria, I (Ace High) (1968) - Rustichelli
Quattro Mosche Di Velluto Grigio (Four Flies on Grey Velvet) (1971) - Morricone
    (The) Queen (2006) - Desplat
    Queimada (Burn!) (1969) - Morricone
Quel Caldo Maledetto Giorno Di Fuoco (Gatling Gun) (1968) - Piccioni
Quel Gran Pezzo Della Ubalda Tutta Nuda e Tutta Calda (Ubalda, All Naked and Warm) (1972) - Nicolai
Quelle Strane Occasioni (Strange Occasion) (1976) - Piccioni
    Quentin Durward (1955) - Kaper
Questa Specie d'Amore (This Kind of Love) (1972) - Morricone
(Una) Questione d'onore (A Question of Honour) (1965) - Bacalov
(The) Quiet American (2002) - Armstrong
Quigley Down Under (1990) - Poledouris

and, the best of the lot ... by far:

(The) Quiller Memorandum (1966) - Barry

I'm afraid that whilst "Q" may be a less-used letter, especially initial, in the English language ... in Italian, and other languages, this is not so. Indeed, it replaces the English "W": when, who, what, where and why ...

    smile

    Mitch
