CD CLUB TIME! The Varèse Sarabande CD Club returns with a very special new batch being announced on May 9. Five new titles in total ... four from Varèse and one from Masters Film Music! We have a great film music celebration planned. The titles will be announced and available for ordering on our web site, and also be posted here. https://www.varesesarabande.com/
I'm gonna guess Swamp Thing and a Vienna/Horner concert CD maybe.
Horner's concert will be release in June (from KrakowerGroup press-release). But they said about blu-ray, so who knows, maybe Varese will release CD-only version bit earlier (in May)?
And as always - I hope for Jagged Edge (I prefer to get it in complete form, but Ecnore version, with LP-program will be nice too)
I expect a Goldsmith and somehow I am pretty sure they can't miss a reissue of THE THING after the success Morricone had with THE HATEFUL EIGHT, Academy Award included.
I just hope this batch has fewer controversies than the last.
No! What else would we have to nag about? The weather?!
On topic: I hope there's room for Starship Troopers and/or The Iron Giant. And a cd-release of North's Four girls in town / Written in the wind perhaps?

Could be, but do keep in mind that "The Thing" was an MCA release that Varèse reissued, and thus not one we can assume they have any ongoing rights to.

Hasn't it been established that the existing "Iron Giant" is complete?
I have a strong feeling that "Starship Troopers" will come – it's the sort of thing they know will be popular among us, and which they apparently own – though whether it's this time, I of course have no idea.
