I came across this 1954 10-minute film touting the invention of synthetic rubber and polyvinyl chloride. It was scored by Les Baxter. The score is primarily used in the animated sequences, which were created by Bill Melendez of the Peanuts films.

The animated sequences are reminiscent of Melendez' work for U.P.A., which he left to start his own production company, so I presume this is one of his first assignments.
