Hi Thor. It's great music and I join you in hoping for an official release (both the score on CD and the film with his score on video). I just wanted to let you know that is definitely NOT the "whole score" on his website. The film is well over two hours long, and being a silent film, warrants almost wall to wall scoring. I'm sure there are many cues he didn't put up (look at the comments for corroboration as some of those people actually saw the film with his score). Also, some of the cues that he did put up noticeably fade out.
Good point. Still, we're lucky to have at least those 15 tracks. For now.
This is an intriguing release. Some of it is kinda hard to get into, some is more accesible and within Korzeniowski's familiar 'romantic minimalism'. It definitely sounds like artsy stageplay music. More down-to-earth, smaller ensembles, less of the extrovert orchestral music he's displayed in his film scores. I like it!
But get that damn METROPOLIS score released, dammit!
