MONDAY, FEBRUARY 8

ACROSS THE RIVER AND INTO THE TREES---The GOLDENEYE duo of Pierce Brosnan and director Martin Campbell reunite for this movie based on the Ernest Hemingway World War II novel in which a middle-aged Army colonel falls in love with a young Italian countess.





FIFTY SHADES FREED---Arielle Kebbel (BALLERS) will play architect Gia Matteo in the last of the Christian Grey trilogy. Also, Bella Heathcote (PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES) will play Leila in the FIFTY SHADES DARKER sequel.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER---Goldie Hawn is in negotiations to come out of retirement to play Amy Schumer's mother in this comedy movie. Hawn's last movie was THE BANGER SISTERS in 2002.

THE MAGICIANS---Syfy renewed the series for Season 2.

GENOCIDAL ORGAN---movie underway based on the novel about a CIA agent who pursues the American who destroyed Sarajevo with a nuclear device. Park Chan-Wook (OLDBOY) is in talks to direct.

A WRINKLE IN TIME---Ava DuVernay (SELMA) is being sought to direct this movie based on the sci fi novel.

VENGEANCE: A LOVE STORY---Nicolas Cage will star in this movie based on the Joyce Carol Oates novel.

THE BACHELORS---JK Simmons and Julie Delpy star in this comedy movie about small town a widower and his 17 year-old son who move to Los Angeles where an old friend and two women turn their lives around.

TITANFALL---spinoff tv series is underway based on the video game.

BIG FAN---ABC/Jimmy Kimmel game show underway with celebrities and their fans compete to see who knows more about them.

LOOK WHO'S BACK---Netflix acquired the international rights to the hit German satire movie in which Adolf Hitler awakens in contemporary Germany.

A DISCOVERY OF WITCHES---DOCTOR WHO ex-producers Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner are developing a tv series based on the fantasy novel.

CHAMPION---movie underway about an American in a Thai prison who competes in the traditional fight competition to get out.

24 HOURS TO LIVE---Ethan Hawke stars in this movie about a dead assassin who is revived by his employer for a second chance at life.

SMOKE ON WATER--movie underway about high-speed boat racing and drug trafficking between Cuba and Key West.

Jim, I hope you realize that my writing style/intellect comments in the bagging area thread was not about your Hemingway thread, but rather about the Herrmann fanatic who deceptively created another account partially to gloat about his prior account’s writing style.
