the lack of posts is shocking.this score is among the very best of this whole decade, maybe even further.its 100% classic, thematicly very strong and brilliantly orchestrated with tons and tons of highlights.if you enjoy scores like to the ends of time, big romantic fantasy music with heroics, this is for you.A++++

... But what does it have to do with that Jerry Goldsmith score I want to see re-re-re-expanded with that missing triangle ding heard way in the background at one point?

Hey now, the only Goldsmith scores that need to be re-re-re-expanded are the ones that weren't expanded right in the first place. smile

I do love to bust you Goldsmith Cult members' balls at any and every turn, Yavar!

Seriously though people, check this out - It's fantastic, tuneful and creative music. The orchestra isn't *huge* per se but the creativity and melodious nature of every note more than atones for that (in fact, I might even say it enhances the quality and transparency of the writing). And Marc Timon is a great guy and a dear friend, so I guess I'm biased, but I knew his music before I knew the man himself.

This and the "old-school" portions of COLISEUM just need to be heard to be believed. Outstanding music. LITTLE WIZARDS is also terrific (and the drama of the recording sessions is a story only Marc himself can tell. You wouldn't believe it!).
