Hi! You probably know about the (Rap) Superstar song by Cypress Hill. Pretty groovy song. What I especially like about this song, is not the lyrics, however, but the instrumtal with its intense powerful rhythm. In Training Day, this song is used in a scene where Alonzo and Jake enters a Hispanic neighbourhood to do some favours, but the song is slightly altered from the original.

In its use in the film, as a song played alloud on speakers at a party, the rhythm is emphasised by having removed the vocals, and adding som awesome metallic electric guitars, and some other amazing snacks, some electronic tones.

It's this clip from the film, where you can hear the music pumping in the background, while Alonzo and Jake are trying to go about their business passing skeptical onlookers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqWJbHVfPwQ

I have tried several different Google searches, Spotify searches, and Soundcloud searches. I have listened through the "Music from and inspired by the motion picture"-album, and I have also looked through the tracklist of the "Complete OST"-album, but I can not find a trace of this remix version. Why not? And does anyone know where I can find it? I would be so glad if anyone could show me where to find it. It sounds so awesome! I enjoy it so much more than the original. smile)
