Marco Beltrami has signed to score upcoming Russian epic drama MATILDA about the love affair between the last russian tsar Nicholas II and the legendary ballerina Mathilde Kshesinskaya.
The movie stars Danila Kozlovsky, Lars Eidinger, Grigoriy Dobrygin, Ingeborga Dapkunaite and others. Directed by Aleksey Uchitel (THE EDGE), the movie is curretnly in post-production and is planned to be released on September 10th in Russia. So far no international release dates have been announced.
