THE BLUE MAX? DUEL IN THE SUN? THIEF OF BAGDAD? IS PARIS BURNING?
Just some wild guesses on my part!
This is great news James! Maybe Rozsa's THE JUNGLE BOOK? Other Rozsa?
Tadlow's 2016 is looking good!
close...IS PARIS BURNING? is in the editing/mixing stage .... so not released till much later this year.
THIEF OF BAGDAD being recorded in March. DUEL IN THE SUN, just awaiting final full scores before setting a recording date.
No plans, as yet , for any more Rozsa although I did watched THE FOUR FEATHERS again last night.....
Thanks for the updates James. I'm very excited to see THIEF OF BAGDAD will record in March. Back in the mid 1950s, even as a young child, I noticed Rozsa's score to THIEF OF BAGDAD. It's probably my favorite Rozsa score! Thanks James!

Does this mean that Four Feathers is the other Rozsa score you're planning on recording. If so, I can wholeheartedly say that I am extremely excited for this.

"I did watch THE FOUR FEATHERS ....." Hmmm, a clue?

James, not long ago you told us there were two important complete Rozsa scores in the recording pipeline, one from Tadlow and one produced by Tadlow for Prometheus. Then after that you announced that Thief of Bagdad was coming out, but I don't believe you ever announced the other title. I hope your above statement doesn't indicate that it has been cancelled?
Looking forward to the announcement and have my credit card ready. James, have you ever given any thought to recording a suite from Maurice Jarre's "March or Die". It would fit in nicely with the other desert Jarre projects that you have championed. Thanks for all your efforts.

Yavar
I was thinking the same thing Yavar but didn't know if I should mention it or not. Hopefully James will update us about another Rozsa for Prometheus.
I just hear Rozsa's THE THIEF OF BAGHDAD will be recorded... I thought I'm more or less out of grails and everything that comes these days is more or less just icing on the cake... but... here we go... that's a grail! Looking very much forward to hear a Tadlow version of that score.

It's interesting how many people say this, yet to me it's probably Rozsa's least typical score, to the point where I find it hard to hear Rozsa at all in parts of it. Not criticising anybody, but I just wonder how people who love this score react to Rozsa's more typical, much tougher and more dramatic scores. Is there still the same love there?

I did re watch MARCH OR DIE the other night with a thought as "extras" for IS PARIS BURNING? But I have other things in mind for that .....so no plans for MARCH OR DIE...sorry.
