Anyone have a good playlist order? One that flows the best? I've really grown to love the score, but having difficulty placing the bonus tracks.

@ Jason LeBlanc- Thanks so much! I'll give it a try. That should work.

Best Howard in ages - Having not seen the film yet, I'm unable to comment on how the music works with the movie. But I must say, on hearing the album I found myself wishing that Potter No. five and upwards had James Newton Howard's name on the credits.

Slowly, but surely, this has become one of my favourite and most played CD's in years (together with MOANA, which I bought around the same time).
It's another one of those scores that reveals something new each time I play it, thus improving with every spin. I'm even getting over the Edward Scissorhands (via Polar Express) theme that elicited groans the first time I heard it wink
I'd say it joins the Williams and Doyle efforts as the best in the Potter series of scores.
Great stuff!

I recently picked this up when Amazon had the Deluxe Edition on sale for less than $8 (less than the single disc edition!).

I too have been amazed with this work... there are themes galore! I wish that there was more cohesion throughout the score, but overall, WOW, JNH really nailed this bludger out of the Quidditch pitch!
