I keep hearing about these recent 'advances in sound restoration technology' and how they can now make things glow anew.
I wonder if Quartet (or another label) could take another shot at the music stems*, that were used for the score tracks on this, and boost the levels and detail even further?
And edit those two source track bleeds a bit quicker (Rock Of Ages/Martyrdom) to end on the Williams score.
I'd certainly buy this again for a sonic upgrade, even if this first edition has been a gift from heaven these past few years.

*a 1 disc score/songs edition perhaps?

Such a great release. I still can't get over that Quartet was able to include pure instrumentals of the songs. The instrumental versions of "How Come?", "Aunt Polly's Soliloquy," and "Hannibal Mo-Zouree!" are such a treat.

Would I buy this again with enhanced sound? In a heartbeat.
