Yeah, I know. It's Christmas, I'm playing EDWARD SCISSORHANDS. So, shoot me! Anyway, giving this a right proper listen and as stated above (on a few occasions), it really does SHINE on this new edition. Details appear that were only like whispers on the original MCA disc, or weren't even heard AT ALL. I swear to JW, The End sounds like a completely different take than what was on the old CD (is it an alternate take?). I also hear NO PROBLEMS within those 3 seconds in The Grand Finale that were mentioned above. This is just a stellar release and any fan of this score, needs to give this cat a home!
Watched this again recently and I've seen plenty of those neighborhoods here in the Tampa Bay area. Made me want to head a little up & over to Lutz to see the actual filming location. I will just have to do that!
It stuck around for over two years and rather than be discontinued, it sold out (of course no amount was specified), so maybe it's worth of a re-issue (probably a low number though, like one thousand units).
