The 50 years of Doctor Zhivago went blank, I waited for a possible complete re-recording of the score, it is true that there are several issues, but I do not like the complete edition of the Rhino Records, I think it's too fragmented plus there is much variation in quality CD sound.
Not entirely nothing. The film is touring the UK in a 4k restoration over the Christmas period, which I intend to see. One of my favourite films and scores. I think the Rhino release is fine, though I see what you mean. A full rerecording would indeed be welcome.
