Here is Sean Callery's Title Theme for the NETFLIX series "Marvel's JESSICA JONES"

I'll be watching this the moment it's available.

Thanks! Here's the link to the other thread which no one but me contributed to: http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=111754&forumID=1&archive=0

Looking forward to the show and curious to hear what Callery's got in store for us!

New to Netflix and have just finished watching this series.

All I can say is...Wow.

I loved it. And that opening theme is very catchy (admittedly, I heard it 3 times a night over 4 nights so it was always going to snag my interest - just as the Daredevil theme did)

Really have nothing more to say - except that I really enjoyed this series....oh and if you're a David Tennant fan (I thought he was a brilliant Doctor) he knocks it out of the park again in this series.

Loved the show and can't wait to see season 2 (well, I *can* wait. I have tosmile)

And I loved the score! Would like to see it released.

I've enjoyed Daredevil and Jessica Jones, and yep Tennant (speaking as a Doctor Who fan) is pretty good in the latter. I also like the fact that we have here two title sequences complete with themes. The art is not totally lost! I have managed lately to catch up with the DC stuff too. So I'm also enjoying Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl.

Sadly these don't have title sequences and themes. What a shame, especially when I think of the 90s Flash and it's excellent Elfman theme and Shirley Walker scores, which naturally I've enjoyed on cd, courtesy of La La Land.

Strange too, that while DC are getting gritty in the cinema and lighter on tv, Marvel appear to be doing the reverse.

Agree with every word of this except for one: Supergirl. Can't be doing with this show, I'm afraid.

But the Jessica Jones title sequence and theme are fantastic.

Not looking forward to the Flash/Supergirl crossover then?

Ok, the latter might be a little on the fluffy side at times, but I've warmed to it. She might not be Helen Slater (although Supergirl's mother is), but then the series is way better than her movie of the eighties.. I welcome the lighter tone, especially after an episode or two of Jessica Jones which is depress-ville, good as it is. And with Daredevil back soon there'll still be the need for that light relief.

It's so obvious that despite their genuine comic traditions, Arrow and Supergirl fill the desire on the part of the producers to have a Batman and Superman for episodic tv respectively. Daredevil also fills a 'Bat-gap'.

The latter gets my vote slightly higher for the theme compared to JJ, though I suppose the sequence itself owes a little visually to Game of Thrones. I was going to suppose the reason why we get boring prologues on the DCs instead of decent themes like the two Marvels was something to do with binge watching on Netflix, compared to folks needing recaps on broadcast tv, but that's rubbish since GoT has a nice long theme and sequence.

Just wish the DCs had decent themes too.

Just wish the DCs had decent themes too.

I watch The Flash & Supergirl episodes on demand about a week after initial broadcast when the number of commercials gets cut in half and when the end credits air in a normal fashion (no coming attractions in their place). Both shows have strong main themes that air over the end credits.

I have been following (where do I find the time??) Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow

and binged on Jessica Jones and Daredevil on Netflix.

I loved the gritty reality, fleshed out characters and writing on both Jessica Jones and Daredevil. And both main themes were hypnotic. For me, these two were standout shows.

As far as the DC shows go (And I grew up on DC comics) I really like the fun of Flash. While the TV show doesn't have a main title as such, the Flash has a great theme throughout the series.

Supergirl has grown on me. Didn't like it when it started but I stuck with it and am enjoying it a lot more now. Can't say the music has jumped out at me as it did in the Flash.

I can't get into Arrow at all. Partly because of the terribly wooden acting. If Arrow were a Netflix show done like Daredevil...Hmmm

And the jury is still out on Legends of Tomorrow.

You see, to me Arrow comes across as less grim version of Daredevil. For folks for whom maybe DD is a little too adult. Personally I enjoy them both. Wouldn't say the acting's particularly wooden. You should see Sylvester McCoy era Doctor Who for that!
