Good reading. We need your support, as it is always a demanding work. More American and English-speaking people in general will be welcome. 64 pages in color, in pdf format.
Patrick, Many thanks for the latest issue of "Maestro" The resurgence of Morricone on vinyl is fascinating. Some of those LP covers look good enough to frame....works of art !
Which recent issue was it you said had information on some rejected scores? I can link to that on my Rejected Film Scores site under each title talked about.
Thank you, once again, Patrick and Didier for another monumental edition of MAESTRO. Like all previous issues it is packed with so much variety and items of interest that I have to stop reading at certain points just to take in and savour what I have just read.....and brew another coffee ..........before continuing. Then, there are all the various links to be enjoyed later. The amount of work to produce this amazing fanzine must be phenomenal.
Even as one who was around from the (Morricone) beginning (yes, one of those that Didier mentions in the Preface), there is so much still to learn from the articles. We Morricone fans are so lucky that we have had MSV for so many years and now MAESTRO.
Whilst enjoying the reading it is a good idea to listen in the background to a score I haven't listened to in a while. (So many, so little time). Inspired by Henry's (Morricone) latest post I'm renewing aquaintance with Il Grande Silenzio.........another masterpiece that grabs the heart.
My deepest condolences to all the good people of France.

I spoke about "Le professionnel", an almost rejected music, because "Chi mai" was used again and again along the film, instead of the real original score. Only a small part of it was used.
Thank you all, guys, a lot of work, but full of satisfaction. Keep reading. Hoping to catch other readers.
Great to see another edition of your wonderful Maestro. We appreciate all the time and effort put into this and we look forward to many more issues. Cheers!
