Just ordered, on a whim -

THE FOX (Lalo Schifrin) - I already have the Aleph re-recording, but I always had the feeling that I'd eventually "need" the old one. From what I've heard on YT it's tighter. I'll let you know.

BROKEN ARROW (Hugo Friedhofer) - Didn't even know (or had "forgotten") that this existed. I generally love Hugo, and I see that some of you said some nice things about this release in an earlier thread. You'd better be right, or else.

BLACK SUNDAY (Les Baxter) - Zardoz will virtually kick my head in when he learns that I ordered this without even looking to see if the Nicolosi original is available. I hope it's good, or you're all in for a good kicking. When Baxter's hot, he's roasting (HOUSE OF USHER). When he's bad, I'm very cold towards him. This Kritzy pack had better be closer to HOUSE OF USHER than BEACH BLANKET BINGO, or you're all in for it.

Blimus, cripus and jingus!!! I made a mistake!!! I ordered Les Baxter's BLACK SUNDAY, thinking that the LP I have is BLACK SABBATH, which it is, but wrongly labelled and containg the score for BLACK SUNDAY! So BLACK SUNDAY is on its way, when I really meant to order BLACK SABBATH!!! Sad thing is I even mentioned the SUNDAY/SABBATH LP mix-up on a recent thread!

Don't worry Graham. The Kritzerland is a vast improvement over previous releases, and there's a lot more music on it too!

Onya.

Oh! Not counting John Blankenship's usual amazing monthly purchases, I make it that only 20 CDs were acquired by us lot last month! I got three! Pretty good going for me.

Anyway, it's December. I haven't ordered anything yet, and may not even do so, so somebody should start a December thread. Oh all right then, I'll do it.
