super jealous of this one. it took me a little while to warm up to tyler and it's because i don't think his stuff plays too well on cd. it's either too busy or i don't like the usual mix jobs. the 2-3 times i've seen him come in to conduct one of his pieces i'm pretty much always blown away since it's usually for works i long since dismissed. i'm sure this will be pretty impressive.

I would love to see the program for this so I could construct a corresponding playlist.

Got my tickets this week and booked a flight. So looking forward to this one!

Must admit that I was somewhat disappointed to see there were still so many seats available

I was hoping he would play more older scores (Timeline, Eagle Eye) and when it was mentioned he would also conduct music that inspired him, I had hopes for some Goldsmith and Horner.

Still, I expect it to be a great night. Really looking forward to it big grin

Embarassing interview. I certainly don't hope this is the standard of British talk show hosts (even morning show hosts). When the male host starts humming the TWIN PEAKS theme (sort of), that's a facepalm moment right there.

I found this interview really interesting except for the silly Twin Peaks reference. When film composers are going to do concerts in America, how often do major morning shows interview them and plug their concerts? I can't remember this happening. Bravo to the BBC in London for spotlighting a film composer.

In the words of the Jackson 5 'I'll be there' smile
Looking forward to this concert, even if I'm not the biggest Tyler fan.

As long as he does Symphonic Touge I will be fairly happy. Forget the Williams. Not needed.
