HAIL, CAESAR!---trailer released for the Coen brothers comedy movie starring Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Ralph Fiennes, Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum.

THE EXPENDABLES 4---the latest sequel in the Sylvester Stallone series is underway and will be filmed partly in China. Premiere will be in 2017.





FEAR THE WALKING DEAD---the zombie spinoff series had the biggest ratings for a first season in cable tv history with an average of 11.2 million viewers.

EXTANT---CBS cancelled the Halle Berry tv series.

TWIN PEAKS---Michael Ontkean has chosen not to return for the sequel series as Sheriff Harry S. Truman. A source said, "Michael is fully retired from show business, and has been for many years." Robert Forster will replace Ontkean.

KEVIN JAMES---James stars in this untitled CBS sitcom about a newly-retired cop and his wife and three kids.

BANSHEE---Eliza Dushku will play an FBI profiler in Season 4 which will be the last season.

TYRANT---FX renewed the series for Season 3.

HALT AND CATCH FIRE---AMC renewed the series for Season 3.

SAND CASTLE---Henry Cavill, Luke Evans and Nicholas Hoult star in this movie set during the Iraq war where soldiers repair an Iraqi village's water system to show they are there to help the Iraqi people.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM---Ron Perlman will play a goblin in the Harry Potter spinoff movie.

THE BABYSITTER---Australian actress Samara Weaving, niece of Hugo Weaving, stars in this movie about a 12 year-old boy and his babysitter who get involved in a murder. McG is the director.

ARCANA CHRONICLES---Warner Bros. TV series underway based on the young adult novels.

THE GLASS CASTLE---Brie Larson is in talks to replace Jennifer Lawrence, who left due to schedule problems, in this movie based on the Jeanette Walls memoir.

Didn't the 3rd one flop domestically? I guess they're counting on the Chinese numbers of make this work?

And wasn't there going to be an "Expendabelles"? Did that get canned?

What with that and Minority Report having its episode order cut to 10, it's not a good week for Amblin Television.

Looking forward to this. He was very likable and hilarious on "King of Kings". Seems he went into idiot territory when he went into films.
