It’s twice as big! Ugh! I don’t like that. The one I have now neatly fits underneath my TV. Other than that I like the improvements. The old remote was so basic and navigation was a pain. The new remote is a huge improvement. Also love the voice command feature.
It won't matter whether or not the new one will fit under your TV. Apple TV 4 does not need to expose an IR receiver because the remote is Bluetooth. Stick it to the back of the TV, or tuck it anywhere else out of sight.
