Sweet little score full of thematic diversity all crammed into a "Thor friendly" 28 minutes. wink
(including songs!)

Haven't spun this in forever, in fact so long I haven't even imported it into iTunes- until today.

had the LP, solium. liked it. Might still have it. Some decent songs too i think but i cant recall what.

the cowboy dan theme was good. Seem to recall some poignant piano too.

Just one, "I Love To See You Smile" which appears in the opening track after the introduction and again as a stand alone at the end. Yes, the cowboy stuff is great! Over all very lovely score.

I know, but it's too obvious to say.

I put this on one night to just chill in bed and read. My 8 year old came in to hang out with me and he loved the music. He recognized Randy Newman's voice from Toy Story right away.

On the bluray extras, Newman states the song was entirely inspired by the sight of Mary Steenburgen. The boy sounded smitten.

Beautiful score. One of my favorite Randy Newman works.

And, oddly enough, it's covered on the first SIMPSONS album; if memory serves, as a duet between Homer and Marge. Doh!
