For me, this is pretty much my last real grail, and only if it includes the Merry Clayton song:

THE NUDE BOMB

"The Seduction" is my choice - it's Schifrin's take on the "Donaggio/De Palma" sound, and it's very well done.

"The Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich". It should have both the cantata and the score for the documentary.

Good call. That is a must.

Absolutely agree on Schifrin's BLACK MOON RISING score. A lost 80s synthy classic that I would buy remastered with extra tracks.

The tapes are gone!

Schifrin doesn't have anything, nor do Anthony Marinelli or Brian Banks.

I tried to do some years back and nothing could be found.

:-(

Also let's be honest, some parts come very close to BLUE THUNDER.

I've been banging on here for weeks about Lalo doing jazz and small-scale Impressionism, but I also really like a lot of his more purely symphonic scores. Anyone care to give me a rundown on the state of his exquisite THE FOUR MUSKETEERS? I've got the LP (Side B is THE EAGLE HAS LANDED), and I see on SoundtrackCollector that Label X's Australian CD had more tracks than any previous release, but there are no timings mentioned and some tracks are marked as "previously unreleased but with inferior sound."

So, what would a "definitive" FOUR MUSKETEERS be like? Possible? Desirable?

The only one I could think of, which I would really want is LOVE AND BULLETS.

Is there really a Schifrin score that doesn't deserve one or the other? I've heard some i didn't really care for, but never a bad one.
