Tragic though that is, it belongs on the Non-Film Score Discussion board. I could not wait to see which board member would mention that it belongs on the non-film music board. However, one of the most popular sold out film scores were the Perseverance and Intrada releases of the Craig Safan score to REMO WILLIAMS... THE ADVENTURE BEGINS. It all begins with the written word.

"Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins..." became a favorite the first time I saw it. I was disapointed there was no sequel, but got excited when later on I discovered there was a failed pilot. The excitment was promptly dashed a year or so ago when I watched the pilot. I haven't read any of the books. A few weeks ago there was news a new movie was in the works. In a perfect worls Fred Ward would be back as Remo, only in the master position, and Safan would score it. I fear for the worse, considering Hollywood's track record.

The Destroyer series of books are very, very different from the film that came out of Hollywood. Look them up and you may get hooked on them.
