Immediately I received a message from Disney: 'Remove the tweet! You're not allowed to say that!' Honestly. It's a kind of Kremlin attitude.
Look, I know perfectly well not to tell you now what I'm giving you for a Christmas present because it would spoil the surprise. And these films are all about opening the box on Christmas Day.
The secrecy has been beyond ludicrous. For heaven's sake, it's a movie. When I got the script, it was typed in black on paper of the deepest red so you couldn't photocopy it. I got a hangover just reading it."
GAME OF THRONES---Freddie Stroma (HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE) will play Dickon Tarly in Season 6.
MODERN FAMILY---Sofia Vergara teased her co-star Ed O'Neill by posting a photo of her dressed up as Peggy Bundy, O'Neill's tv wife in MARRIED...WITH CHILDREN. Vergara's photo caption was "Do you like this Ed Oneal??" [sic].
HELLBOY 3---Ron Perlman said he hopes the third movie will be filmed, “I really feel as though I’m done with the character. I don’t have a burning desire to put that sh*t on again. But Guillermo told me what the resolve of the trilogy would look like...that I found it essential that we do it. We were designed to be a trilogy, with a beginning, a middle and an end. We’ve only done two-thirds, so I feel that we’re not really done until we finish it.”
He added, “Holy sh*t, he’s the beast of the Apocalypse. He has to take down civilization. He has to. It’s non-negotiable. That’s the foundation for the story, and that’s why I think it would be a shame if we don’t do it."
Perlman said about HELLBOY II ending with Liz Sherman being pregnant with twins. “The two twins: one would look like the mum and one would look like the dad. And one of them was going to be completely f*cking corrupt, the other one angelic. Which one was which? Only Guillermo would make the f*cked-up-looking one be the angel. So then that adds to the saga.”
DROPSEY---DreamWorks horror movie underway from producer Frank Marshall (INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE, BACK TO THE FUTURE) in which kids at a summer camp are terrorized by an urban legend from the Colonial Period.
NEIGHBORS 2---Selena Gomez has joined the sequel cast.
LUKE CAGE---Mahershala Ali (THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY) will play Cottonmouth.
A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS---Netflix series underway based on the Lemony Snicket children's book series. Barry Sonnenfeld (MEN IN BLACK) is the director.
