If they make another film with a female as the star, will it be called Mad Maxine?

Hi Adam!smileI think they had equal billing which I quite liked. Even with THE ROAD WARRIOR and THUNDERDOME it was someone else's story with Max along for the ride and saving the day.

I love how you get so involved in your passions, henry, whether it's Bill Conti or MAD MAX!

So what if Bill Conti would end up scoring a future Mad Max movie, would that be the ultimate film for Henry?

The day Bill Conti scores a MAD MAX movie (given the style of the recent film), I'll gladly eat my shorts!

Can we get a petition going?

You sound like Sheldon in Big Bang Theory when he talks about model trains!

Which isn't a criticism, I love people being enthusiastic about things they are passionate about, even things I am not interested in (and I have to say I have never liked any of the Mad Max movies).

Hey Henry

I worked on the promotion in the UK for the first three, I was one of those who even said the first would make it on its own as it was originally released as the bottom of a double bill with Turkey Shoot!
As I have spent many hours with these films & certainly do enjoy them, in fact I have a display literally above this pc I am writing this on, please can you tell me/us what has caught your attention with these movies?
It’s great to read such passionate & positive posts.

Regards

Hi Andy, it's so cool to hear from you!smileI love everything about these movies. The world Miller has created, the brilliant action scenes, the characters, the storytelling through action, the music. I think every aspect of these movies are top-notch. The imagination and originality are incredible. I can't praise them enough. They are my favorite films, all 4 MM movies, of all-time.

Henry

I am so happy to read this, as I agree 100% the Mad Max world has often been copied but no one has George Miller's vision or style.

Each one is certainly unique in their story telling & construction. I have no favorite as I have always considered each to be a separate film, as indeed most Bond films were (excluding Casino Roayle / Quantum of Solace that do run on from each other) & have always enjoyed each as a new adventure with a central character, I do appreciate Mad Max 2 (Road Warrior) references the original in the opening and of course has one of the deleted scenes in it as well.

I hope you spend many more enjoyable hours in the world of Max.

regards

Andy b
