I'm the author of the original thread which I created to divert all obnoxious thoughts as a cathartic release for the posters and some the insane visitors we got [LOL] and all in good humoured jest. At its inception and launch the moderator of the board [David Sones] did advise the folks to keep it within the realms of civility. I was actually surprised that that the thread lasted so long. Oh well! RIP.
Feel free to start a new OTT thread, but people who push the envelope with personal attacks thinly disguised as "all in good fun" will lead to lockdown. Moderating of the thread has been tolerant if ya ask me (not that anybody asks me). I think it's been clearly established that plenty of folks here are able to take a joke and have fun with the thread without making it ugly. If that spirit can be maintained, which it mostly was for a long time, then it's all good. But sometimes people like to see how far they can push the limits for no other reason than to be douchey. Not cool.
