Well, we had it coming. First Horner, now Thaxton. This thread was mostly funny, but
things have gone ugly, IMO. Take no offense, anyone. But you have brains, so use them.
It seemed there´s no limits, and we (you as i don´t write here often) were pushing the limits
more and more. And now the thread is closed.
Probably it´s not wise to open vol 2, as the atmosphere has generally changed here. People
tend to push limits more and more, and i think, this certainly wasn´t the idea of the thread
in the first place. A good jokes about film music and us, i think that was the idea from the
first place. So if we are going to make vol 2., we really have to think how it would work.
Its a shame i can´t write to this board more. I´m very busy with my work, and with mailing with
my finnish film music enthusiastic colleagues, but this was a subject i really wanted to bring to
the table. So WTF is wrong with us? Can´t we be civilized anymore?

In recent days, there were clearly a couple of very personal and intentionally offensive posts about a particular member who had caused a bit of a dust-up on another thread. I was not at all surprised to find the thread locked after that - went over the line (never supposed to target an individual). And I won't be surprised if this thread gets locked too, if this discussion goes too far.
But I would respectfully suggest that the moderator always adds a last post on a locked thread to explain the lock, just as a matter of information.

I think it's pretty clear in the last couple of posts above Solium's final entry. Not gonna get into it here. If we repeat it, there's the motivation for closing this thread.
