It must have something to do with The Company You[they] Keep?

I only recently got to see The Bucket List, which is a buddy buddy movie involving the great outdoors, interspersed with bouts spent within the four walls of hospital rooms. A family member tried to get me to watch it for a long time and I only got around to it in the end having exhausted everything else considered watchable. So, it would be interesting to determine what the central glue of this story could be. From the look of things, an apologist tale, of sorts, is on the cards.

Oh, yeah, one other thing. 20 years is an appreciable fraction of one's lifetime, especially when placed in a particular context, but on the whole it's a throwaway length of time.

A.R.C.H.I.E. is live-action, not animated.

Not surprised he chose not to use a picture of Josh Gad.

Thus leaving aside the potential for a spinoff where the survivors are relentlessly prodded to explain how they all aged three years while being inside a dome for three weeks (especially Joe).

It's a very good book; expect no less from Bryson. It will be interesting to see how the film makers add more drama to it, however.

It's hard to shake off money...

I like Craig in the role but wouldn't blame him for wanting to shake off the role before it gets "too comfortable" with the press.

Honestly, this is a bit if a relief. I watch it religiously, but really to see what nonsense they come up with next. I still like the original conceit of a trapped community, but the writers have moved away from the interesting part (the politics) to instead concentrate on a handful of characters in an effort to support an increasingly risible explanation for the inexplicable. Stick to the dome being a mysterious maguffin and it might have retained its interest.

The writing has been surprisingly poor in parts, as well. One of the characters said "Before you set out on revenge, first dig two graves." So far, so clichéd, but okay. Unbelievably, he went on: "One for him, one for you".

FFS!
