JESSE STONE: LOST IN PARADISE---the Jesse Stone franchise premieres on the Hallmark Channel on October 18. In the premiere, Stone is a consultant to the Boston police regarding an unsolved murder committed by The Boston Ripper. William Devane, Gloria Reuben, Luke Perry and Leslie Hope star.
SUPERGIRL---photo released of Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane.
IRON GIANT---Vin Diesel hinted a sequel to the 1999 Brad Bird animated movie might be underway, "I have been very lucky to have played so many interesting characters... one of the first and one of my favorites is... the Iron Giant. P.s. Don't be surprised when you hear WB announce the sequel." The original will be rereleased in September.
REBEL IN THE RYE---Nicholas Hoult (X-MEN: APOCALYPSE) will play JD Salinger in this biomovie.
RICHARD PRYOR---untitled biomovie underway starring Mike Epps as Pryor, Eddie Murphy as Pryor's father and Oprah Winfrey as his grandfather.
THE FLASH---Tony Todd will provide the voice for Zoom/Reverse-Flash.
TNT---premiere dates were announced: THE LIBRARIANS on November 1, LEGENDS and MAJOR CRIMES on November 2 and AGENT X on November 8.
HANNIBAL---showrunner Bryan Fuller said a theatrical movie might continue the canceled NBC series, "[Executive producer] Martha De Laurentiis is looking into financing for a film. I'm still hoping that we get to tell that story in some way." He added, "But it would be interesting to discuss a miniseries or some sort of continuation of the story with another network once all the hubbub of this series has gone fallow. Who knows? Maybe there is an opportunity for us to address things with MGM and Clarice Starling now that the show has completed its run on NBC and there is an opportunity for a rebirth of sorts."
