"Revenge" is temped on Philip Glass, obviously, but a brilliant one, and probably the best cue of the year so far.

I think Pemberton has acknowledged that debt by titling one of the other tracks 'Life out of balance', which is the English translation for (Glass-scored movie) Koyaanisqatsi.

I have never understood the need to make, or watch, movies about loathsome people like Steve Jobs. I would listen to the score though.

From my understanding it's more fictional than fact. Might as well call the film Joe Blow. I'll stick with documentaries.

It's amusing and ironic that the soundtrack to a film about Steve Jobs is coming out on a PHYSICAL media format. Ha. Take that, Jobs!! LOL

All I can say is that it's the second time this year that this guy has blown me away with his music. I think THE MAN FROM UNCLE was a blast but this one is equally clever in its own way. A cross between Opera, Glass and Jean-Michel Jarre it's a treat from start to finish. They played some of this music at the World Soundtrack Awards and it sounded glorious. Another high point in a year filled with great soundtracks (Wolf Totem, Cinderella, Pan, Far from the madding Crowd and the list goes on...).

Yeah, this score was a big surprise to me. Intelligently done, as I think someone else pointed out.
