I will be especially grateful to any label that will FINALLY release SEVENTH SON!

This is a thread to be thankful for the hardworking labels that put out the product, not yet another excuse to go "WHY DOESN'T SOMEONE PUT OUT (insert title I never shut up about here) NOW?!" or words to that effect.

I also remember the late Hiro Wada's SLC Japanese label in the nineties, they released many great titles ( especially rare Morricone scores)

So amazing that you mention this. I was able to purchase SLC's release of Memphis Belle. I treasure it.

Lovely score !

Well said. I so agree.

Completely agree with the assessments and positive comments so far. I've got a couple of small-scale stories of the above and beyond variety.

One label held a couple of special autographed releases for me when I was having a minor medical procedure when the limiteds went on sale and couldn't get in under the wire. Doug Fake helped me find a CD pressing plant once upon a time when my organization was pressing a limited edition disc - took some time on the phone with me to help out.

These folks are golden, and I'm glad we're able to support them in the work they love - and the work we love.

Huzzah! smile

We have been enormously blessed in recent years. I was there is the late 80's when I was looking for any scrap of film score. I recall then that filmscoremonthly magazine, hardcover, was like a portal to a world of people like me, and there was some hope that someday all those scores would be released. Now, wow, almost all of my dreamlist is available, or at least was in some version. They are all great, but FSM, Intrada, LLL and Krietzerland are my love.

I agree with all the accolades. Although I'm still pissed at LaLaLand for releasing the entire STAR TREK TVseries music. The occasional holy grail release is all well and good, but that was one of those gifts that cant be repaid, and I hate owing someone something. I may never forgive those bastards. Oh, and keep up the good work. wink

To me Intrada, La La Land Records, Varese Sarabande and Kritzerland are familiy.

In addition to those mentioned above I'll add Buysoundtrax. They haven't washed my car or cooked me dinner or helped me move a piece of heavy furniture but they have released a plethora of scores that I am ecstatic to have in my CD collection, including Avalanche, Fire and Ice, Terror in the Aisles, Jake Speed, Megaforce, The Sword and the Sorcerer, A Whale for the Killing, Winterhawk, The Curse of Dracula, The Legend of the 7 Golden Vampires, Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter, Dracula A.D. 1972, Friday the 13th Parts 7 & 8, Hawk the Slayer and more. Keep digging up that B-movie gold, boys!

I don't want the labels washing my car, cooking me dinner or moving my furniture and I am sure they don't want to either. I am thanking them for the personal touches and gestures that go above beyond the production of beautiful music and there have been many.

This is exactly what I am referring to Sean. Beautiful example.
