Third or fourth generation cassette copies of the original recording do exist in not really good sound quality. The original masters are apparently not available anymore from the music publisher. This is the problem. And quite certainly the Italian labels are still searching for better material before releasing the score on CD.

that's a shame, although perhaps modern technology could improve the tape transfer. Thanks, Stefan.

started to watch the movie, accidentally with the German audio track. It had recognizable OST music, but when switched to the English track, there was different music. Does anyone know if the music was replaced on some dubs, or possibly re-arranged? Imdb doesnt mention an alternate composer. I'd watch the German version for the music, but there are no complete English subtitles.
