Guess nobody noticed yet, but Varese will be issuing Jerry Goldsmith's score to Rudy on 180g colored vinyl, to be out on Oct. 19. Can't even find this mentioned on Varese's website.
Hopefully this score was recorded in analog and the LP will be mastered from the analog tape and the pressing quality is good. If so, I will buy it. Have been disappointed with a lot of the new vinyl issues coming out lately. Many are mastered from a CD or digital files and the pressing quality leaves much to be desired.

RUDY?!?! Really? What a dud to put out on vinyl. I am all for the labels releasing Vinyl- but ya'll gotz to realize that you want DJ's to buy these albums as well- I mean you want to move units-right? So releasing music they can play at their gigs and mix with their soul, psych, funk, jazz, electronic music etc. Rudy does not cut it.
