For season 2 viewers, does AK introduce any new thematic material into the mix? I gave up on season 1 about 3/4 of the way through (I tried but it just didn't grab me), but the music was fantastic.

Yes there are new themes for the witches, Brona and the Vanessa/Ethan romance among others. There are also half a dozen waltzes, one for Sir Malcolm that I cannot wait to own.
Something tells me you'll be waiting quite awhile....
I could be wrong, but with the show cancelled it's very likely t's something that VARESE might not be interested in putting the time into such a project.
In a wildly inconsistent show, Korzeniowski's music stands with Eva Green as the only aspects that were consistently great.
