I've been listening to quite a few of Wayne's albums lately. Some great stuff, one of the jazz masters.

For a start, try this one from the 1966 Adam's Apple album

I like his solo albums more than I like his contributions to Weather Report, if I'm quite honest. He used a lot of soprano sax and a lyricon (or whatever its called) in the WR albums, neither of which I ever liked the sound of.

He did write some great tunes for them though, but too often got a little upstaged by the likes of Zawinul and Pastorius.

I've got Adam's Apple; I'll have to give it a listen again sometime this week.

I love his playing on Fire On The Cross by Bruce Hornsby & The Range.
