I've got a mate who reckons the Horner title is BOPHA expanded!! Don't know where he got that notion from!

He probably got the idea because of all the Big Screen Records albums LLL has expanded so far, like Goldsmith's Dennis the Menace and Horner's Searching for Bobby Fischer. I for one bought the Big Screen Bopha! for 99 cents, based on Horner's name, and found it distinctly unenjoyable to listen to. I liked the theme itself, and would be all over an orchestra-only arrangement of it (or even one of those BSX re-recordings on piano or whatever). But the vocals, while perhaps appropriate in the film, just make it unpleasant to listen to on album...in my opinion anyway. Yavar

I only ever listened to Bopha once(a friend played me some, when it came out )It actually made me feel a bit sick, like when someone drags their fingers down a chalkboard. So I never bought it or bothered pursuing it.Make of that what you will.

The Pelican Brief should come out well before something like Bopha! I do like the MT of Bopha! though.

I can't find a separate thread for LLL's INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS release, but it surely deserves one. Been listening to it non-stop for days. Is there a new thread for it which I'm somehow stupidly missing? Or shall I start one? Actually, if there isn't one yet, somebody else should start it, because I haven't got my head in order yet. It's all mince and tatties, and I'd just spout gibberish. Give me a few days to really absorb this great CD.
