Roger Feigelson writes One is a golden age release and if you've been paying attention or picked up our last one you'll know what it is. The second is an expanded reissue of an early 90s Intrada release. Outdoors adventure score with now more than double the length of the first release which ran just about 30 minutes. Not sure what the second one could be, but the Golden Age release has to be Rózsa's Desert Fury.

Could the Golden Age be Double Indemnity? It's Desert Fury. Really excited about that one! There's been no commercial release of this apart from a theme on one of the Daniel Robbins albums (at least not that I'm aware of)...

Gotta be Broughton's Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey That was easy. Sounds like it'll be just this score, which is nice, but I was kind of hoping that when HOMEWARD BOUND was expanded, it would've been released with David Shire's rejected score. Oh, well. Shire wrote a score too? did not know that. I have HW and love it as is. Can't believe the expansion will significantly change it but now folks who missed out can get it. bruce

There was a good action cue missing from Homeward Bound, if I remember correctly. When I got the album, I assumed that it would have been part of "The Cougar" cue, but I can't really remember anymore where it was in the movie.

If the Golden Age release does turn out to be Miklos Rózsa's Desert Fury(1947) then it's going to be a definite purchase for me!

If the Golden Age release does turn out to be Miklos Rózsa's Desert Fury(1947) then it's going to be a definite purchase for me! The same here, Niall. I have all of the Intrada Rozsa (including all of the FSM) releases, and I just can't get enough of his music.
